How to Select Plasma Consumables

1. Match System and Torch

Identify the Powermax 125 and Duramax Hyamp torch, and whether it uses separate consumables or a cartridge. Do not mix Powermax 105 and 125 parts or different torch configurations.

2. Identify Process and Current

Distinguish hand cutting from mechanized cutting and specify the required current. A matching nozzle number does not mean any shield will fit; select a compatible stack.

3. Prepare Parts and Quantities

Send each part number and quantity, and indicate whether you need a single replacement or a maintenance set. Include the delivery city to establish supply terms.

For mechanized cutting: the 65 A setup uses nozzle 420169 and shield 420168; the 125 A setup uses nozzle 220975 and shield 220976.

Workshop and Factory Supply Requests

For plasma maintenance or a cutting-line supply request, identifying part numbers helps avoid ordering a nozzle or shield that does not suit the torch. Prepare a separate list for each system and specify quantities rather than an undefined number of sets.

Before replacing parts, switch off the system and follow the manufacturer’s safety and maintenance instructions. If cut quality changes, review the stack; do not use damaged parts or replace one component without checking the other consumables.

Ordering Questions

Is the power-supply model enough to select a part?

No. Match the torch, part number, cutting process and current. The system may use its original torch, a replacement torch or a different cartridge platform.

How do a nozzle, electrode and shield differ?

These are separate components with their own part numbers. Send the required number rather than asking only for a plasma tip, so the replacement can be identified accurately.

Does this range fit SYNC or cartridge torches?

Do not assume compatibility. The listed parts belong to conventional consumable stacks. A torch using a cartridge or adapter needs a separate compatibility check.

How do I request pricing and supply?

Send the part numbers, quantity of each part, a torch-label photo if uncertain and the delivery city. The quotation confirms availability, lead time and order terms.
